Bafana
Date Set For FIFA-Ordered Bafana/Senegal Replay

The FIFA-ordered replay between Bafana Bafana and Senegal has been given a date according to the recently released SAFA calendar.
FIFA decided that Bafana’s 2-1 victory over Senegal last year in November should be declared null and void after they banned referee Joseph Lamptey for life, finding him guilty of ‘match manipulation’.
At the time of the decision there was no date set for the encounter, however SAFA released a calendar for the year this week where they stated that the game will be played on November 10, at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
The second game, in Senegal, is set for Dakar’s Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor four days later on November 14. This will be the final game of the group stage and may decide who goes on to play at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Bafana face Burkina Faso this weekend in a must-win game at FNB Stadium, with the match due to get underway at 15h00.
