Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau admits they did not know much about Paraguay heading into their Nelson Mandela Challenge encounter.
Tau salvaged a draw for Stuart Baxter's men after netting a last-gasp equaliser as they drew 1-1 with the South Americans.
“It was a difficult game, we conceded early but got back strong. We were trying to get the tactics right and the movement. And we got the last goal in the last minute which is good,” Tau told SuperSport after the match.
“We didn’t know much about them but they were very physical and moving the ball fast which is a good preparation for Libya. But then we gave everything and got a draw.
“It’s good that we have youngsters in the team. So they will always help us with energy and it’s also a good experience for them,” Tau said about the youngsters being blooded in the team.
