The Siya crew can confirm that head coach of the South African senior men’s national football team Bafana Bafana, Stuart Baxter is ready to reveal his plans for the national team.
South African Football Association (SAFA) has been making recent headlines in the media due to the SAFA presidential elections that are scheduled to take place later this month. However, Baxter will outlay his plans next week Tuesday where among many things he will be expected to announce the names of the nations which Bafana will play in their next international friendlies.
The crew reported that Baxter had met with SAFA’s technical committee earlier in the year to discuss the plans for the senior men’s squad. Siya sources have now revealed SAFA have urged Baxter to reveal the Bafana’s plans before the elections which are scheduled for the 2nd of March 2018.
“The plan was to wait for the presidential elections to conclude however certain members within SAFA felt it was best that the head coach reveals the plans before the elections,” revealed the source.
