Baxter: I Need To Give Credit To Coaches In The PSL

Stuart Baxter Commended The Coaches In The Premier Soccer League

Bafana Bafana head coach Stuart Baxter has complimented the coaches in the Premier Soccer League for how the players in the squad responded to instructions.

Bafana were crowned champions of the Four Nations tournament this weekend, where they defeated both Angola and the hosts, Zambia on their way to lifting the trophy.

“This was indeed a fruitful exercise for the technical team as well as the players. We had two highly competitive opponents in a short space of time and did well in both games,” Baxter said on SAFA’s official website.

“We played two different teams because we wanted everyone to play, especially the kids and they really held their own in tough conditions.

The Englishman then went on to commend the coaches in Mzansi’s top flight for their work on the players.

“I need to give credit to the coaches in the PSL. If you look at the time we had with the team, it was very short, but for them to quickly adapt to instructions and the tactics we wanted for both matches is something to be complimented,” Baxter said.

He bluffing himself. Watched Germany, Spain and Brazil this past weekend and interestingly, they have a very conservative approach in team selection, whereby they heavily rely on seasoned experienced players and young players have to be extremely talented to be selected.

According to a source close to Jali's representatives, Sundowns has put up an offer that is difficult to resist. In fact, Indidane understands Jali met with Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane. "Pirates and Sundowns are interested. As it stands now Sundowns are pushing and want to close the deal as soon as possible,” said the source. "Pirates cannot be ruled out but strong indications are that Jali will sign with Sundowns,” the source added
