Bidvest Wits' on-loan defender Hlanti has been included in the starting line-up for the second leg of South Africa's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cameroon tonight.
Shakes Mashaba and the team need a win at the Moses Mabhida Stadium this evening following their 2-2 draw with Cameroon in the first leg in Limbe on Saturday, and Zwane reckons Hlanti will can help them achieve this.
"He is a quality player and I think he will play well. He has all the qualities you need in a player in modern-day football," he said.
"But as the situation might be in football sometimes, his performance might depend on the game. It's not the first time that we see Shakes doing what he has been doing with Bafana. I'm telling you this from experience.
"I had never played for Bafana when he took me to Ivory Coast and handed me my first national team cap. I was the Man of the Match that day. He has done the same thing to a lot of other players. It’s something that must be working for him and that's why he keeps doing it.
"The onus will be on Sifiso not to disappoint the guy and do the job the way it should be done."

Hlanti worked closely with Zwane at AmaZulu before the left back's loan move to Bidvest Wits in January.
