Hlanti looked good overall. He set up Hlatshwayo's chance and threatened with a few free kicks.

Coetzee did a decent job in the heart of the defence. His positioning may have been better on occasion.

Mathoho gave away a free kick unnecessarily in the 27th minute, but didn't make any glaring errors.

Jali was full of running in midfield and distributed the ball well.
Mandla Masango: 6.0
Masango was ineffective and didn't do enough off the ball to help his fellow playmakers.
Hlompho Kekana: 6.0
Kekana had a quiet game and would have wanted to make more of an impact.
Thamsanqa Gabuza: 5.5
Gabuza struggled to time his jumps to win headers and was not a factor for Bafana.
Thulani Serero: 7.0
Serero did a fair job spreading the ball around with slick passing.
Tokelo Rantie: 6.0
Rantie showed a few good touches but failed to really threaten Cameroon.

Nhlapo replaced Hlatshwayo at half-time and made a couple of good contributions.
Ndumiso Mabena: 6.5
Mabena came on for Rantie in the 51st minute but saw little of the ball.
Prince Nxumalo: 6.5
Nxumalo was brought on for Gabuza and had one good chance to score just before the end.
