Orlando Pirates players are still in the Bafana Bafana camp as part of the national team’s preparations for Tuesday’s match in KwaZulu-Natal.
The South African senior national team is set to play against Paraguay at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday evening in the Nelson Mandela Challenge match.

With Bucs preparing for their Telkom Knockout semi-final match against Kaizer Chiefs, which is set to take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, there had been rumours that the trio of Innocent Maela, Vincent Pule and Thembinkosi Lorch would be excused from Bafana camp to join coach Milutin Sredojevic and Bucs in preparing for the Soweto Derby cup clash.

However, it has been confirmed to the Siya crew that the players have remained with coach Stuart Baxter and Bafana, and are in Durban for the clash against their South American opponents.
Speaking to SAFA’s official website about the upcoming match, Baxter said, “Team unity is important. The lads (players) want to be here, want to learn and are talking the same language. They get along with each other and that type of unity is priceless.”
