Modiba Praises Clinical Bafana After Plate Final Win

Aubrey Modiba hailed Bafana Bafana's clinical display against Botswana in the Cosafa Cup plate final on Friday evening.
Bafana walked away winners of the Cosafa Cup Plate title for the second year running after a 3-0 victory over Botswana on Friday evening.
Modiba, who put on a man of the match performance with a goal and assist, believes they followed the instructions of coach Stuart Baxter very well and were clinical in attack.
“I think we did well today, we played to the coach’s instructions. He said that we must press them high and make sure that we own the ball and we did exactly that today," Modiba told SuperSport after the game.
“We were clinical in the third half as well. This is our seventh goal in three games. I think we did well tonight.
Having conceded only one goal in three matches throughout the tournament, Bafana kept a clean-sheet and it’s welcomed by the SuperSport United man.
“We’re happy with the clean-sheet because the coach has been working with our defence and we managed to do well today.
“I think we are happy with the clean-sheet and the fact that we scored goals as well,” he said.
