Bafana Bafana are slowly regaining the trust of supporters and Joseph Makhanya shares his thoughts on coach Hugo Broos.
When Broos took over the reins, few thought he would bring change in the national team. In current FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Bafana have produced some good football and are yet to record a defeat in their group which includes Ghana.
With the coach known for his honesty, Makhanya says South Africa needed such a mentor and his attitude is helping the national team.
"I love his honesty, the game needs honest people, who will say things the way they are. One thing I would love to see, is coach Hugo Broos leaving us with blueprint for the next five years and have a solid squad, so we can move away from forever regulating culture," Makhanya told the Siya crew.
"Let's support him, have his system in place because we can see he is bringing change. He talks about issues that have been affecting Bafana Bafana for years and needs to be supported because results are coming.
"If we can going to stick with him, we will definitely benefit and I hope we can support him."
