Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the club’s reserve team coach’s role with the South African senior national team.
With Bafana Bafana preparing for this weekend’s Nelson Mandela Challenge match against Mali, Chiefs’ MultiChoice Diski Challenge team coach Arthur Zwane is part of the national team’s setup as an assistant to Molefi Ntseki – the head coach of the side.
Chiefs’ reserves are still unbeaten in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge this season, with Zwane doing an impressive job with the team.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed by the Soweto giants that Zwane’s involvement with Bafana is only on part-time basis.
“Kaizer Chiefs Reserve’s coach Arthur Zwane will serve as the Bafana Bafana part-time assistant coach during this period,” confirmed Chiefs on the club’s official website, while also adding, “In the same vein, Amakhosi’s video analyst Mark Davy has also been called up to serve as the National Team’s video analyst.”
Meanwhile, Chiefs are scheduled to play against SuperSport United in the PSL’s Reserve League this Saturday at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
