There have been a few hiccups along the way, but preparations for Molefi Ntseki’s Bafana Bafana squad ahead of Sao Tome and Principe, are well underway.

The national team’s performances in their last two friendly matches against Namibia and Zambia were far from convincing, where they suffered a draw and a defeat respectively.
Bafana were also dealt a blow when six players withdrew from the squad who are set to take on Sao Tome in must-win back-to-back AFCON qualifiers, starting this Friday.
Despite the setbacks, Ntseki recently received a boost when the last of his foreign contingent in Bongani Zungu arrived in Bafana’s KZN camp on Wednesday. The 28-year-old midfielder is high on confidence following his dream Glasgow Rangers debut this week.
In addition, the former Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Keagan Dolly and Percy Tau are firing on all cylinders of Montpellier and Anderlecht respectively, a big boost for Bafana, who will need all their attacking players to be on song come Friday.
