Bafana Bafana international, Hlompho Kekana has not travelled with the squad to Senegal, despite Head Coach Stuart Baxter leaving the door open for the player.
The South African national team suffered heartbreak last week when their dreams of qualifying for the prestigious 2018 FIFA World Cup was demolished following their 2-0 loss to Senegal.
Despite Senegal already sealing their qualification for Russia 2018, Bafana and the Senegalese side will need to lock horns one last time in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier, where Head Coach Baxter and his troops will look to regain their confidence.
Bafana will face Senegal in Dakar on Tuesday, November 14, with Head Coach Baxter maintaining that the encounter will not be treated like dead rubber.
The Englishman still has one less player at his disposal, with Kekana remaining behind in Mzansi, while the team begins preparations in Dakar.
Kekana was excused from Bafana camp early last week due to a family bereavement, with Baxter subsequently calling up Tiyani Mabunda to replace the 29-year-old.
