Confirmation: No Bafana Four Nations Broadcast
Four-Nation Tournament in Zambia will not be televised
Soccer Laduma can confirm that the Four Nations Tournament in which Bafana Bafana are taking part in Zambia will not be broadcasted.
The South African men’s senior national team is scheduled to take on Angola today in their first fixture.
Yesterday the Crew reported that the South African Football Association is yet to confirm the broadcast of the tournament that is being played in Zambia, but SAFA's Head of Communications, Dominic Chimhavi has confirmed to the Siya crew that the clash will not be broadcasted on televison.
Official updates of Bafana’s fixtures will be available on Bafana’s official twitter. South Africa take on hosts Zambia, Zimbabwe and Angola with the tournament scheduled to finish by 25 March 2018.
Meanwhile, the Siya Crew has also reported that Bafana Bafana head coach Stuart Baxter is not under any pressure to win the tournament and SAFA have given the Englishman some leeway to experience with a youthful squad.
Bafana left for Zambia on Tuesday morning. The squad is expected to have two training sessions today ahead of their first game today. The national squad is expected to make their return from Zambia on 26 March 2018.
