After Bafana Bafana played to a goalless draw with Zimbabwe on Friday, former Orlando Pirates winger Joseph Makhanya has given a list of three players he was impressed with.
A new-look Bafana Bafana, under the guidance of head coach Hugo Broos, started the FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a goalless draw away from home in Harare and will next take on Ghana at FNB Stadium on Monday, September 6, in an attempt to collect maximum points for the first time in their group C qualifying campaign.
It's a squad with a lot of potential, but Broos has admitted that he will need some time to work on the team, especially the finishing in front of goal.
Makhanya told the Siya crew that he was impressed with Teboho Mokoena, Rushine De Reuck and Luther Singh, who recently made a move to Denmark to join Sibusiso Zuma's former club FC Copenhagen.
These are players he is hoping can lead Bafana Bafana to victory when they take on the Black Stars at FNB Stadium on Monday.
