Following Bafana Bafana's 3-1 victory over Ethiopia, former Orlando Pirates winger Dikgang Mabalane has selected three players who he was impressed with.
Hugo Broos' men registered their second victory in group C of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, beating the Ethiopians away from home. Currently top of group C after three matches, Bafana Bafana are unbeaten and take on the same side at FNB Stadium on Tuesday, October 12.
It was an impressive win for Bafana Bafana and Mabalane feels there are three players who stood out on the day.
"Ronwen (Williams) made crucial saves in the first half which could have easily given Ethiopia the lead. I was impressed with him," Mabalane told the Siya crew.
"Mokoena also did well. He is consistent and kept the middle of the park solid alongside (Mothobi) Mvala. They gave us numerical superiority as well when in attack. Nyiko Mobbie utilized the space on the right to keep the Ethiopians on the back football. He is another one I was impressed with," Mabalane added.
Bafana have a good chance to move to 10 points at the top of the standings when they host the Ethiopians at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday. These three players mentioned by Mabalane will have a big role to play in leading the team to victory.
