Bafana Bafana finished with an unbeaten record in the COSAFA Cup group stages and their semi-final opponents have now been confirmed.
Result: South Africa 0-0 Zambia
Date:14 July 2021
Venue: Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
Bafana Bafana and Zambia could not be separate after the opening 45 minutes of their final Group A clash on Wednesday afternoon.
Bafana made wholesale changes, with only Sifiso Ngobeni, Yusuf Maar and Njabulo Ngcobo retaining their places from Tuesday's win over Lesotho while Chipolopolo had a number of South Africa-based players, including goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene, Augustine Mulenga, Roderick Kabwe and Justin Shonga.
The hosts had a bright start, with Ngcobo coming close in the ninth minute with a chip at the near post that missed just over the top corner before Thabang Sibanyoni guided a header just over the bar minutes later.
After a slow start, Milutin Sredojevic's charges were forceful in the closing phase of the first stanza and Salulani Phiri came the closest to breaking the deadlock on the stroke of half-time with a diving header that sailed just wide.

Chipolopolo were dealt an injury blow, as Mweene picked up a knock before the break did not return for the second stanza and was replaced by Gregory Sanjase.
South Africa were under pressure in the early stages of the second stanza and Morena Ramoreboli made a double attacking change on the hour-mark, after bringing on Siyethemba Sithebe and Victor Letsoalo in places of Ayabulela Kanqobe and Kagiso Malinga.
Although Bafana improved going forward, Zambia had more urgency, threatening to break the deadlock and Dominic Chanda almost gave them the lead in the last nine minutes with header just outside the six-yard box that missed just wide after a long throw-in.
Ghampani Lungu came close to snatching the winner in stoppage time with a volley inside the six-yard box that was cleared by Ngcobo but South Africa held on to settle for a point, as they finish top and will face Mozambique in the semi-finals.
Here's how they lined up:
South Africa: Vyver, Mphahele, Sibiya, Ngcobo, Konqobe, Sibanyoni, Maart, Phohlongo, Ngobeni, Maboe, Malinga
Subs: Mothwa, Mobbie, Letsaolo, Saleng, Sithebe, Dube, Brooks.
