The organisers of the 2018 COSAFA Cup have announced venue changes for the fixtures scheduled for Wednesday 30 May 2018.
Today’s fixtures were scheduled to be played at the Seshego Stadium however, the organisers of the tournament confirmed that the stadium’s lighting is inadequate for television transmission.
Furthermore, the stadium floodlights went out during yesterday’s fixtures.
“COSAFA cannot risk such things happening again for an international tournament of this stature,” said COSAFA Media Office representative, Lynda Greef.
Meanwhile, the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium will be the new venue where Angola will take on Mauritius in the early fixture and later Malawi will face Botswana.
