One More Game For Baxter’s Bafana…

Bafana Bafana have one game left to play at this year’s COSAFA Cup in the plate final, with Stuart Baxter’s side finding out last night who their final opponents will be.
Bafana lost on penalties to Madagascar over the weekend after a 0-0 draw in 90 minutes, however put in a much improved performance on Tuesday night as they put Namibia to the sword with a 4-1 victory.
Lebogang Maboe got a brace as Aubrey Modiba and Siyanda Xulu also got on the scoresheet to secure South Africa’s biggest win in around two years, booking their spot in the plate final against either Botswana or Swaziland.
It was Botswana who made it through though, beating their Swazi opponents 2-0 yesterday evening to set up a clash with Baxter’s boys on Friday night at 17h00 at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
It is likely that Baxter will stick to a similar side that brushed Namibia aside on Tuesday, with the likes of Gift Links, Fortune Makaringe and Lebogang Maboe having impressed over the last two matches.
