Bafana Bafana Striker: Wherever They Are, We Know We Get Their Support
Bafana Bafana international, Dino Ndlovu is confident that South Africa will be supporting the team even if the fans don’t show up to the Stadium.
The South African national team will be hosting Burkina Faso at the FNB Stadium today, October 07, in a must-win 2018 FIFA World cup qualifying encounter for head coach Stuart Baxter’s side.
It was reported earlier this week in local media that there have been under 500 tickets sold for the encounter, with the national team not expecting to see a packed stadium.
However, the Siya crew spoke to a source within the SAFA camp who confirmed that the number of tickets sold, quickly swelled up to 15000.
Speaking to the media, Ndlovu, who made his return to Head Coach Stuart Baxter’s squad, says that he knows the nation will be supporting the team even if they don’t come out to watch Bafana at the Stadium.
“Even if it is not full (the Stadium) I know that South African people they love Bafana Bafana, even if they sit at home, they will switch on the TV and watch the game, but wherever they are I know that we get their support in spirit and hopefully we will get a positive result this weekend,” Ndlovu told the media.
The match between South Africa and Burkina Faso will get underway today, October 07 at 15h00 at the FNB Stadium.
