Darren Keet: 5/10
Keet only played the first half, but had a very quiet 45 minutes.
Abbubaker Mobara: 6.5/10
Mobara put in a solid showing defensively on the right side, although he was quiet going forward.
Lorenzo Gordinho: 6/10
Proved to be solid for most of the encounter, but poor communication between himself, Coetzee and Williams led to Zambia's second goal. He also missed a good chance to equalise late in the second half.
Rivaldo Coetzee: 6.5/10
Coetzee was a calming figure in a relatively young backline, but the communication was lacking in the final stages of the second half.
Sifiso Hlanti: 7/10
Hlanti was impressive on the both ends of the pitch. He was a real threat going forward and was defensively sound.
Andile Jali: 7/10
The captain for the night took control of the midfield battle for most of the encounter and was key to Bafana's dominance.
Tiyani Mabunda: 6.5/10
Did well to protect the Bafana back line for most of the game and he did well to keep things ticking in the middle of the park.
Percy Tau: 6.5/10
The Mamelodi Sundowns star was lively throughout the match and gave the Zambian defence a tough time. He did also miss a chance to equalise late in the second half.

Dropped deep to collect the ball on a few occasions and linked up well with the midfield. He also got the assist for Manyama's goal.

Looked lively on his Bafana debut and caused a coupe a problems in the final third before being replaced on the hour mark.
Lebogang Manyama: 7/10
Showed some good combinations down the left with Hlanti, as well Tau and Ngoma. He also opened the scoring with a fine header.
Ronwen Williams: 5/10
Replaced Keet at the start of the second half, but didn't have the best of halves. He got beaten at his near post for the first goal and slipped in the build up to Zambia's winner.
Lebogang Phiri: 6/10
Looked lively when he was introduced on the hour mark. He had a couple efforts from distance, but none of them troubled the Zambian shot-stopper.

Brought on for the final 20 minutes, but failed to make an serious impact.
