Itumeleng Khune: 6.5/10
Khune did not have a lot to do but when called upon, he was very agile and alert.
Ramahlwe Mphahlele: 8/10
The defender was solid at the back. He was not afraid to get forward and he picked up the assist for Rantie' goal.
Tebogo Langerman: 8/10
Langerman was impressive on the left-wing. He held his own against Moses Simon and was a real threat going forward.
Eric Mathoho: 7/10
The Kaizer Chiefs centre-back brought was solid throughout the game and did well to frustrate Kelechi Iheanacho.
Thulani Hlatshwayo: 7/10
The Bafana captain was forceful in the heart of the defence and worked well with Hlatshwayo throughout the 90 minutes.
Dean Furman: 7/10
Furman held the midfield really well. He kept the Nigerians at bay and kept the defensive shape really well.
Themba Zwane: 7.5/10
Zwane was a real threat going forward. He was unlucky as he hit the post twice in what could have been two goals to his name.
Bongani Zungu: 7/10
Zungu was slow out of the blocks, but he did well to protect the back four and was calm in possession in the second half.
Tokelo Rantie: 8/10
Rantie was lively upfront. He kept the Super Eagles defence on their toes. He capped his performance with a crucial goal in the second half.
Keagan Dolly: 8/10
Keagan had a good game. His touches were brilliant going forward and he created the second goal that was scored by Percy Tau with a defence-splitting pass.
Sibusiso Vilakazi : 6/10
Compared to the other Bafana attackers, Vilakazi had a quiet game in the midfield and hardly threatened in the final third.

Percy Tau: 6.5/10
The Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder only played 10 minutes but he sealed the win with a well-taken goal upon his introduction.
Lebohang Manyama : 6/10
Looked lively upon his arrival, but he did squander a good chance late in the second half.
