Bafana
Bafana Player Ratings v Ghana

Soccer Laduma rates the individual performances of the Bafana Bafana players, following their 2-1 loss to Ghana.
Here are the ratings:
Brilliant Khuzwayo: 6
Made his Afcon debut in a must-win match and managed to hold his own, did well when coming for crosses and was good in commanding his area.
Anele Ngcongca: 6
Quietly went about his job down the right flank and managed to hold his own against the Wakaso Mubarak, although he did not attack as much as he is use to.
Thabo Matlaba: 5
Not the best of evenings for Matlaba, left John Boye un-marked for the equaliser and offered nothing in attack.
Rivaldo Coetzee: 5
He's inexperience showed the second half, gave away unnecessary free-kicks in the Bafana half.
Erick Mathoho: 6
Solid defensively from Mathoho in the heart of the defence but was caught ball watching for Ghana's second goal.
Dean Furman: 5
Not the best of performances from the Bafana skipper and struggled to keep the ball in the middle of the park.
Andile Jali: 5
Much like Furman, Jali struggled in the middle of the park and made a few sloppy passes.
Mandla Masango: 7
Handed a starting berth by Shakes Mashaba and looked lively on a few occasions down the right flank and not forgetting his sensational volley.
Thuso Phala: 5
Not the best of showings from the speedy winger, in-effective down the flanks and was substituted shortly after the halftime break.
Tokelo Rantie: 5
Frustrating evening for Rantie, despite playing alongside a partner in the attack, although they failed link up well.
Bongani Ndulula: 5
Played a vital part in Masango's goal but was hardly effective as the game went on.
Substitutes:
Sibusiso Vilakazi: 5
Replaced Phala in the 57th minute but failed to make any impact due to Ghana's dominance.
Reneilwe Letsholonyane: 5
Brought on directly after Ghana's second goal but failed to help Bafana in the final third.
Bernard Parker: NA
Was not on the field long enough to receive a rating.
