Football fans all over the continent watched anxiously this evening as the AFCON 2019 draw took place in front of the Great Sphinx of Giza, with 24 teams being split up into six groups as they prepare for battle on Africa's biggest footballing stage.
Stuart Baxter's Bafana find themselves pitted against Ivory Coast, Morocco and Namibia in Group D, and will now be eagerly awaiting the start of the tournament on June 21st when the hosts, Egypt, play the opening fixture to get things underway.
Bafana have two former winners (Ivory Coast in 1992 and 2015, Morocco in 1976) that they will have to get results against if they're to progress in the competition, while neighbours, Namibia, are attending the tournament having qualified for the first time since 2008.
With the competition being expanded from 16 teams to 24 this year, it will be the top two teams of each group that qualify for the knockout rounds, along with the four best third-placed teams from across the groups - and the AFCON will have it's first ever Round of 16.
Do you think Bafana can make it out of Group D?
