Amajimbos have wasted no time in getting down to business as they continued their preparations for the 2015 CAF Under-17 African Youth Championships in Niger.
Molefi Ntseki and his charges arrived in Niamey, Niger on Sunday almost a week before the start of the tournament in order to acclimatize to the extreme weather conditions.
Amajimbos held their first training session at the Niger Federation technical centre on Monday morning where they prepared on an Astro Turf as some of their matches during the tournament will be played on an artificial pitch.
“The boys are now settled and we are on track with our preparations. There is still work to be done as the boys need to get used to this extreme heat,” said Coach Molefi Ntseki in a media release from the South African Football Assocation.
