Africa Cup of Nations - Quarterfinals

Teams: Algeria v Cote d'Ivoire

Date: 01 February 2015

Algeria and Cote d'Ivoire will be vying for a spot in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations when they lock horns on Sunday night.

The match gets underway at 21h30.

The Algerians booked their spot in the last eight with a 2-0 win over Senegal, which saw them top the Group C standings.

The Desert Foxes will be without striker Islam Slimani again, as he has not recovered from a thigh problem, while Yacine Brahimi is expected to play despite limping off against Senegal.

The Elephants, meanwhile, secured their quarter-final spot with a 1-0 win over Cameroon in their final group game.

While the Ivorians will be boosted by the return of Gervinho, after the winger served a two-game suspension for his red card against Guinea in the opening game.

These two nations have met six times before in the Nations Cup, with two wins apiece and two draws.

Here's how they line up:

Algeria: M'Bolhi - Mandi, Bougherra, Medjani, Ghoulam - Feghouli, Taïder, Bentaleb, Mahrez, Brahimi, Soudani
