Group D stills awaits its first win, after Cameroon and Guinea played out to a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening.
Vincent Aboubakar was presented with the first chance of the game in the 10th minute but the Cameroonian forward's effort from close range was saved by Yattare.
However, Cameroon took the lead three minutes later, as Aurelin Chedjou got the slightest of flicks to put the ball beyond Yattare.
Guinea almost opened the scoring with their first meaningful chance in the 36th minute, but Ondoa came rushing off his line to deny Alain Traore.
Guinea managed to find a equaliser just before the halftime break, Alain Traore turned well before firing a low effort into the far corner from the edge of the box.
Aboubakar squandered a glorious chance to restore Cameroon's lead in the 65th minute, the striker completely missed a free-header from close range, after being picked out by Bedimo.
Keita came close to giving Guinea the lead in the 75th minute but the midfielder fired over the crossbar from inside the area.
Stephane Mbia should have sealed the three points in the 89th minute but the Cameroon captain managed to steer his header wide of the target from six-yards.
