Cote d'Ivoire head coach, Herve Renard, believes his captain Yaya Toure will make a big impact in the Afcon final against Ghana this evening.
The Manchester City inspired his side to a 3-1 win over Congo DR in the semi-finals, scoring a wonderful goal from the edge of the area.
However, the the Elephants captain has not always produced his club for his country in the past but Renard feels the big games are important to Toure.
"I'm sure Yaya will play a decisive game. He will arrive in time. You saw he scored a fantastic goal in the semi-final and that was not by chance," Renard told BBC Sport.
"When you are fantastic player, these key important games are for you. I'm sure Yaya will play a very good final."
Meanwhile, the Elephants star winger, Gervinho. says the side are motivated ahead of tonight's final.
"It has been a long time since we have had a final between Ghana and Ivory Coast and we want to write our history too. This is our chance and we hope to take it," Gervinho said.
"We are very motivated. From the beginning of this competition, we said we have six games to play - we have played five and there is one remaining."
