The South Africa national team will make their return home this weekend, after a disappointing end to their Africa Cup Of Nations campaign.
Bafana Bafana went all the way to the quarter-finals of the AFCON tournament, with their biggest win of the competition being a 1-0 victory over the hosts Egypt, in the last 16 round.
However, Head Coach Stuart Baxter’s boys bowed out in the last eight, suffering a 2-1 loss to their long-time rivals, Nigeria.
The South African Football Association have since confirmed that the local players in the national team will be arriving in the country on Saturday, July 13 at the O.R Tambo international Airport at 13h00.
Mamelodi Sundowns have already confirmed that their five first team players, namely, Hlompho Kekana, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Tiyani Mabunda, Lebohang Maboe and Themba Zwane will be given two-weeks off to rest.
All clubs in the Premier Soccer League have already begun their pre-season preparations, with several of the outfits away on a camp in other locations.
