Swedish club, Landskrona, were considering a move for Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Mandla Masango, though they are believed to have decided against it for now.
The 25-year-old was recently transfer listed by the Amakhosi due to the fact that he has fallen down the pecking order at Naturena, though there's been no reported bids made for him as of yet.
Masango turned down a move to Mpumalanga Black Aces last season, and unless an offer for him is made in the next few weeks, then he faces another six months sat on the sidelines at the club.
The Siya crew have been informed that Landskrona, who play in the Swedish Superettan, had been made aware of Masango’s situation by Chiefs’ head coach, Stuart Baxter, who spent several years working in Sweden.
It is thought that the club, who currently have Stars of Africa graduate, Bradley Ralani, on their books, were eager to try and add a second South African to their ranks, though with only 14 games left of their season, they opted against it.
However, there is a possibility that they may renew their interest ahead of next season when they will have more time to try and secure a work permit for the midfielder.
