Zlatan Ibrahimovic has once again spilled the beans on his opposing relationships with Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola, claiming that the latter once even hid from him.
The Swede is currently preparing for the Major League Soccer play-offs, with his contract at LA Galaxy set to come to an end in December.
Ibrahimovic played under both Mourinho and Guardiola, but only has fond words for the Portuguese tactician.
"We still stay in touch, he had an incredible impact on my career," the former Paris Saint-Germain superstar told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He is still the Special One, a winner.
"I hope he returns to a bench soon, and I am certain he will win straight away."
Ibrahimovic’s troubled relationship with Guardiola is not something new, but he has now insisted that the former FC Barcelona manager once even hid from him to prevent an argument.
"We never had a confrontation, only down to him," the striker explained.
"When we faced each other, he hid from me.
"I went back to the dressing room after the game and he was in a room waiting for me to leave. At the door, one of his assistants told him: 'Ibra has gone, you can come out now.'
"He is phenomenal manager, but as a man..."
