The 10 Biggest Kit Sponsorship Deals In Football

Real Madrid signed a whopping R5.2 billion kit sponsorship deal at the beginning of the season, breaking Manchester United's record contract. Here are the 10 biggest shirt sponsor deals in football right now.

Los Blancos, who have won three of the past four UEFA Champions League titles and once again reached the final this season, extended their deal with airline Fly Emirates, who are now paying the Spanish giants $83 million (R1.04 billion) annually over five years, equalling $415 million (R5.2 billion) in total.

In doing so, Real overtook United's record deal with Chevrolet. The car manufacturer pays the English giants $80 million (R1 billion) per annum over the course of seven years.

Chelsea sit in third place with their annual income of $60 million (R755 million) from Yokohama, while FC Barcelona signed a $58 million (R730 million) deal with Rakuten towards the end of last season.

Arsenal, who only recently extended their deal with Fly Emirates, follow with their $56.2 million (R707 million) deal, ahead of Premier League trio Manchester City (Etihad Airways), Tottenham Hotspur (AIA) and Liverpool (Standard Chartered), who all have $40 million (R503 million) deals in place.

Bayern Munich are the only German side in the top 10, with their longstanding partner Telekom paying them $33.4 million (R420 million) a year, while Paris Saint-Germain complete the top 10, receiving $32 million (R403 million) annually from Fly Emirates.
