While former FC Barcelona wizard Ronaldinho is still under house arrest due to his alleged involvement in a money laundering scheme, he has now responded to messages from the likes of Samuel Eto'o, Ronaldo Nazario and Carles Puyol.

The 2002 FIFA World Cup winner was arrested in Paraguay on 5 March after he and his brother Roberto Assis were caught in possession of fake passports.
On 7 April, Ronaldinho and his brother were released on bail, but remain under house arrest in a hotel in the South American country after an investigation into their potential involvement in a money laundering scheme was opened.
After about 60 days in house arrest, the 2005 Ballon d'Or winner recently had an interview with Mundo Deportivo, during which he thanked everyone, in particular his former teammates, for their support.

"The relationship we have is very special and I had a beautiful time at Barca with all my teammates during the adventure that is playing soccer," the Brazilian answered when asked about messages from Puyol, Ronaldo Nazario and others.
"I am a soccer player with love and profession. They know me well and they know that it was not an easy time.
"His (Puyol's) words were important and they helped me to get out of this storm as soon as possible.
"I thank you with all my heart."

It has been just over three months since Ronaldinho was first arrested, and it remains to be seen how much longer he will stay under house arrest. Initial reports suggested that the investigation could take up to half a year to conclude.
