Argentina football legend Diego Maradona has passed away at the age of 60.
The 1986 World Cup winner recently underwent brain surgey and was released on 11 November 2020.
Argentine publication Clarin broke the news that Maradona died on Wednesday after he suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest, which was confirmed by the legend's lawyer.
Maradona spent a lot of his career in Europe, where he turned for the likes of Barcelona, Napoli and Sevilla, while he also represented Boca Juniors and Newell's Old Boys.
Maradona was part of Argentine team to win the World Cup at 1986, where he scored that famous solo goal against England after picking up the ball on the halfway line.
