Reports: Ronaldinho Has Just R96 To His Name

It is believed that Ronaldinho's bank accounts were frozen after he and brother failed to pay a fine of €2 million (R32 million), and it was later discovered that the Brazil and FC Barcelona legend had just €6 (R96) to his name.

Barca Comment On Ronaldinho Controversy

According to Brazilian media outlet UOL, the player and his brother failed to pay a fine of €2 million (R32 million) issued to them three years ago, after he and his brother, Roberto de Assis, who is also his agent, were punished for environmental damage.

The damage was believed to be caused by a construction project the brothers carried out in a protected area in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Due to their failure to pay the fine in time, Brazilian authorities reportedly took control of the former Barca icon's bank account, only to find that it contained just under €6 (R96).

it has been claimed that a magistrate in Brazil has ordered that his passport be confiscated, although it is unknown where he currently is in the world.
