After being released from prison earlier this year, a surprise report has claimed Ronaldinho could come out of retirement to play for Diego Maradona.
Ronaldinho spent a couple weeks in a Paraguay prison after he and his brother were alledgedly caught with fake passports.
According to a report by Marca, El Dia have claimed that Maradona is hoping to lure the 2002 World Cup winner out of retiremen to join him at Gimnasia.
It is believed that Ronaldinho is contemplating a possible return to football but while there have been no negotiations between the player and the club, Maradona is hopeful of pulling something off.

The Spanish publication claim the two-time Ballon d'Or was close to joining Gimnasia four years ago, with the club offering him $1.5 million per year.
Ronaldinho remains on house arrest in Paraguay, as his case was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 40-year-old has been out of professional football since 2015, having last played for Brazilian outfit Fluminense.
