Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho could be set for a swift return to management, with one of his former clubs reportedly keen on luring him back.
Mourinho was relieved of his duties by Man United last month after a loss to rivals Liverpool in the Premier League.
Now According to the Mirror, Benfica have identified the Portuguese as their next manager following the departure of Rui Vitoria.
Vitoria ended his three-year spell with Benfica after parting ways with the club on Thursday.
Portuguese publication Record claim that the former Red Devils boss is still highly regarded at Benfica, where he began his coaching career.
Mourinho managed the club for 11 games, leading them to six wins before he left after contract talks broke down.
