In the build up to Monday’s FIFA Gala in Zurich, where the FIFPro World XI will be announced, we ask you who should make the team.
FIFA announced the 55 man shortlist for this year’s team at the beginning of December, with the likes of Sergio Aguero, Wayne Rooney and Diego Costa joining a list dominated mostly by Bayern Munich and Real Madrid players.
The official team is voted for by 20,000 professional players from across the globe and has featured the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Manuel Neuer, Franck Ribery and Sergio Ramos in previous years.
So today, we ask you to compile your own team and let us know which players you would like to see in the team this year. FIFA allocates one slot for a goalkeeper, four for defenders, three for midfielders and three for attackers.
