Latest FIFA Rankings Announced

World football governing body FIFA have announced their latest FIFA rankings, with lots of changes among the top 10 and an African side climbing into the top 15.

While there were no changes in the top two positions, with Germany staying at the top of the rankings ahead of Brazil, Belgium climbed onto the podium into third spot.

The Red Devils jumped above Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal and Lionel Messi’s Argentina, who follow in fourth and fifth position respectively.

Switzerland now sit in sixth place, one ahead of France, after both sides climbed up two spots. Spain fell two places to eighth position, while Chile moved one up into ninth.

Poland complete the top 10 despite falling four positions – the biggest move among the 10 highest ranked nations.

Traditionally strong nations such as England (13), Netherlands (19) and Italy (20) remained outside the top 10, while Africa’s highest ranked country, Tunisia, climbed a massive nine spots into 14th position overall.
