Neymar is set to make a return to action when Brazil lock horns with Croatia at Anfield this afternoon.

The match is scheduled to get underway at16h00.

Brazil coach Tite confirmed that Neymar will be involved in the second half today as he looks to improve his match fitness.

Selecao have only lined up two friendlies as preparation for the World Cup, with clash against Croatia and Austria.

It has also been confirmed that Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus will captain the side for this afternoon's clash.
 
Croatia will also be featuring in their first warm-up encounter ahead of the World Cup.

The likes of Luka Modric, Mateo Kovacic and Dejan Lovren have linked up with the rest of the squad after they were involved in the UEFA Champions League final.

The last time these two nations met, Selecao registered a 3-1 win at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
