Olivier Giroud bagged a hat-trick as France thumped Paraguay 5-0 in an international friendly on Friday evening.
The hosts broke the deadlock after just six minutes when Ousmane Dembele lifted the ball to the far post, where Giroud was hand to slot home, 1-0.
Just over 10 minutes later, the lead was doubled as Giroud grabbed his second goal with a close range finish, following a fine pass from Dimitri Payet.
Paraguay looked for a way back into the encounter but they struggled to carve out any clear-cut chances against the French defence.
The French nearly extended their lead after 40 minutes when Gomez almost deflected Dembele's cross into his own net.
Despite the home side's dominance, the score remained 2-0 to Didier Deschamps' charges at the halftime break.
The home side had a chance to extend their advantage 10 minutes into the second half, but Antoine Griezmann failed to convert from six-yards out.
France eventually grabbed a third goal in the 70th minute as Giroud completed his hat-trick by turning home Lucas Digne's cross.
Six minutes later, it was 4-0 as Alexandre Lacazette raced into the box before squaring the ball to Moussa Sissoko, who slotted home from close range.
France bagged a fifth goal as Griezmann registered his name on the score-sheet with a thumping finish from close range in the 77th minute.
