Netherlands In Comeback Win Over England

International Friendly
Result: England 1-2 Netherlands
Date: 29 March 2016
Venue: Wembley Stadium
The Netherlands came back from a goal down to beat England 2-1 in an International Friendly on Tuesday.
The visitors had the first threatening shot on target in the 26th minute when Wijnaldum unleashed an effort from the edge of the penalty area towards the far corner, but Forster made a good stop.
The Three Lions came close to breaking the deadlock in the 37th minute. A quickly taken free kick resulted in Ross Barkley beating his marker before directing a shot just wide of the far post.
Just shy of the half-time break the hosts were in front. James Milner's pass was left for Adam Lallana on the edge of the box and he turned smartly before finding Walker who squared for Jamie Vardy to finish.
However, five minutes into the second half the travelers were level. A mistake from John Stones was taken advantage of by Vincent Janssen who forced a save from Forster. Luciano Narsingh then drilled a cross into the arm of Rose, earning Netherlands a penalty that Janssen slotted.
The winner arrived in the 76th minute as the visitors completed their comeback. Bazeor's through-ball was latched onto by Janssen who played it on for Narsingh to finish.
