Joachim Low is preparing for the final three international games of 2020, with Germany set to face Czech Republic in a friendly before hosting Ukraine and then travelling to Spain for their UEFA Nations League ties.
Germany are currently second in their UNL group, just one point behind Spain, and are unbeaten in their past 10 games.
They could overtake La Furia Roja in the upcoming international break and qualify for the UEFA Nations League finals, despite winning just one game in the competition so far.
Low has recalled the likes of Leroy Sane, Ilkay Gundogan and Thilo Kehrer, while Philipp Max and Felix Uduokhai received their maiden call-ups.
The latter was born in Germany but is also be eligible to play for Nigeria, the birth country of his mother. He has represented the European nation at youth level and could make his first appearance for the senior team in the coming days.
Eight Germany stars, namely Manuel Neuer, Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich, Sane, Matthias Ginter, Toni Kroos and Timo Werner, will only be available for the Nations League clashes and not the initial friendly, while the likes of Thomas Muller and Jerome Boateng remain out of the reckoning.
