Germany have announced their squad for this month's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, which includes a player who previously represented England at junior level.
18-year-old Jamal Musiala has earned his first call-up to the German national side after switching allegiance from England last month.
The Bayern Munich youngster had represented England at youth level but opted for Germany, which is his country of birth.
“I just listened to the feeling that over a long period of time kept telling me that it was the right decision to play for Germany, the land I was born in,” he told the Athletic's Raphael Honigstein.
“Still, it wasn’t an easy decision for me.”
Here are 11 footballers who have played for two countries:
Joachim Low's troops will face Iceland, Romania and North Macedonia from next week as they begin to their quest for World Cup qualification.
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Emre Can, Lukas Klostermann and Kai Havertz have all returned to the senior set up.
The likes of Thomas Muller, Jerome Boateng and Mats Hummels remain omitted from the squad.
