Didier Deschamps has probably one of the most talented crop of players at his disposal, recalling several of his stars for the March internationals.
Ousmane Dembele returned to the squad for a first time since November 2018, while the likes of Ferland Mendy and Kylian Mbappe were also included again.
In addition, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is another name who missed out on recent selections but now returned for a first time since November 2019.
However, there was still no place Karim Benzema, who has not been Deschamps’ squads since allegations of his involvement in Mathieu Valbuena’s sextape scandal became public.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup champions will face Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Bosnia-Herzegovina later this month.
