Earlier this week, we looked at 14 players who have completed a university education after Salomon Kalou posted pictures of his graduation on social media.
The likes of Giorgio Chiellini, Robert Lewandowski, Percy Tau and his coach Vincent Kompany all featured. However, there are many more players who have secured degrees, including Romelu Lukaku.
The former United forward, who now plays for Inter Milan, is a natural linguist who speaks as many as five languages, namely: English, Spanish, Dutch, French and Portuguese. On top of that, he is also said to understand German and Swahili, while holding a degree in Tourism and Public Relations.
Another famous player who studied while playing is former Germany striker Oliver Bierhoff. The 52-year-old is now the national team director of the German Football Association after graduating with a degree in Business Economics from the University of Hagen in 2002.
Real Madrid legend Emilio Butragueno, who scored more than 100 goals for Los Blancos, graduated with a degree in Economics and went on to get a Master's in Sports Management. "The Vulture", as he was known in his playing days, is putting his knowledge to good use as he is now the head of public relations at his former club.
