The final FIFA rankings of 2018 have been revealed, with World Cup winners France finishing the year in second place, while the highest-ranked African nation sits in 23rd position.

France ended 2018 behind leaders Belgium, who top the world champions by the finest of margins with just one point.
South American giants Brazil finished in third place after winning all of their games since the World Cup without conceding a single goal.
World Cup runners-up Croatia ended 2018 in fourth position in the FIFA rankings, one above Gareth Southgate's high-flying England.
Portugal appear in sixth spot, followed by Uruguay before Switzerland, Spain and Denmark complete the top 10.
Argentina end the year outside the 10 highest-ranked nations in 11th position, while Germany finish one of the worst years in their history in 16th place.
Senegal remained the highest-ranked African nation in 23rd position, while Bafana Bafana stayed in 72nd spot.
