England and Guinea were forced to share the spoils, after playing out to a 1-1 draw at the Estadio Francisco Sanchez Rumoroso Coquimbo on Saturday.
Kaylen Hinds handed the English the lead after 61 minutes, before Naby Bangoura secured a point for the African nation in the 76th minute.
Chile 1-1 Croatia
World Cup hosts, Chile, began their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Croatia on Saturday evening.
It was the Croatians who broke the deadlock after just eight minutes, courtesy of a strike from Nikola Moro, before Yerko Leiva leveled matters for the hosts in the 33rd minute.
