Brazil, Mexico Secure Last Eight Spots

Brazil secured their passage into the quarterfinals of the FIFA U17 World Cup, after they edge past New Zealand at the Estadio SausalitoVina Del Mar.

The winning goal arrived in the final minutes of stoppage time, as Luis Enrique slotted home a penalty, after the striker had been brought down in the box.

Mexico 4-1 Chile

Mexcio advanced to the last eight of the tournament, after they thrashed World Cup hosts, Chile, 4-1 at the Estadio Nelson Oyarzún Arenas.

Goals from Claudio Zamudio and Pablo Lopez cancelled out Brian Leiva's opener for the Chileans.

However, the Mexicans sealed the win with goals from Eduardo Aguirre and Diego Cortes in the final 20 minutes.
