The draw for the next edition of the FIFA Club World Cup took place today, with Pitso Mosimane's club Al Ahly's opponents being revealed.

Having qualified for the tournament after winning the CAF Champions League, the Egyptian giants are one of six teams taking part in the showpiece in Qatar next month.
The other clubs participating are Bayern Munich (winners of the UEFA Champions League), Ulsan Hyundai (winners of the AFC Champions League), Tigres UANL (winners of the CONCACAF Champions League), Al Duhail, who qualified as hosts after winning the 2019/20 Qatar Stars League title, and the winners of the Copa Libertadores, the South American Champions League, who are yet to be determined (the final of the South American competition between Brazilian giants Palmeiras and Santos is scheduled to be played on 30 January).
While Bayern Munich and the Copa Libertadores champions will only enter the tournament at the semi-final stage, the other four teams will meet in the second round.
This year's first round was scrapped after Auckland City, representing the Oceania Football Confederation, withdrew from the tournament due to COVID-19-related quarantine restrictions.
