This week, two upcoming stars are likely to make their debut for their countries, with Marcus Thuram and Giovanni Reyna recently receiving call-ups to France and the United States of America, respectively.

Both Bundesliga players are set to follow their famous father’s paths and represent their nation at international level.

Thuram, who has impressed for Borussia Monchengladbach, is set to make his debut for Les Bleus 22 years after his father Lilian won the 1998 FIFA World Cup with France.

Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Reyna, meanwhile, could feature for the USA's senior side for the first time 14 years after his father Claudio retired from national team duty.
